We've raised our fundraising goal... what happens next?! We have a big task of making a family video for "4 Paws". This video will be for them to get to know us as a family and especially Mia. They want to see the good, the bad and everything in between:) That way, they will know what kind of dog will not only be a perfect match for Mia's needs but also for her personality and our family dynamic.
We need this video to be submitted by 4 months before our training class. There's plenty of time, but I can procrastinate, so it's gradually in the works!!! :)
We will have to wait until 2 weeks before our class to find out who Mia's puppy is. They will send a picture and a special letter from her dog:) They wait until then because sometimes dogs need to be switched as they are trained because they can tell they would be a better fit for another child. They don't want a family to become attached and be let down. In the end, each child is with the dog that is meant for them! :)
Mia's dog will be approximately 1 year old, give or take! On the "4 Paws" website, they post pictures of the newest little pups. They name the litters and then come up with cute names for the puppies that go with the theme of the litter. Check out the newest litters HERE.
Here are a few pictures of the cutest little puppies from the
"Friendship Litter"born on
December 5, 2012.
Who knows... maybe one of them will become Mia's new little buddy! :)
